Offset Printed Lapel Pins are an excellent choice if your original art has color gradients or, you do not wish to have the thin metal lines separating the colors and text. These pins are created by printing your art on paper and then applying the paper to a thin metal pin. Epoxy is placed on top of the paper. The pin will be an exact reproduction of your art.
The art is printed on vinyl, mylar or other substrates. These images are then put on the metal pins by hand. It’s possible there may be a slight uneven edge on one or two sides but this is usually less than 1/64-inch and usually not noticeable.
Offset Printing is used for complex designs and colors. It offers full-color reproduction with crisp coloring and details. Gradient or Gradual Color Changes are also possible using Offset Printing. Offset Printing is from customer supplied C.M.Y.K. artwork with a minimum of 400 dpi resolution.
C.M.Y.K. stands for Cyan-Magenta-Yellow-Black and is a color model in which all colors are described as a mixture of these four PMS process colors. CMYK is the standard color model used in offset printing for full-color documents. Because such printing uses inks of these four basic colors, it is often called Four-Color Process printing as well.
We can custom cut a shape like the pin you see here, or use a stock shape pin and offer it a variety of standard sizes and shapes, but in much less time. Our stock shape and quick pins will save you money and be ready in as little as 4 working days!
Screen Printed are virtually the same as Photo Printed Pins, but less colors are used. The plus side to a screen printed lapel pin is that you can match your company or team colors exactly since only one or two inks are being used. We match any Pantone colors that you may require in your design.
